Zgodovina boksa
Boks velja za enega najstarejših športov v Sredozemlju. Najstarejši vir o obstoju tega športa predstavlja sumerski relief, ki izvira iz tretjega tisočletja pred našim štetjem. Skulptura iz egiptovskih Teb iz leta 1350 pr. n. š. prikazuje dva borca ter gledalce.
